Clear answers on the Health Score, the models behind it, our data, and how plans and the trial work.
Product
- What is Shyller?
- Shyller is a platform for AI-driven stock analysis. Its models evaluate thousands of stocks worldwide every day and distill the result into a single Health Score from 1 to 5, complemented by market regime signals, watchlists, and email updates. The technology is developed by Ultramarin, a German asset manager specializing in artificial intelligence.
- How is the Health Score calculated?
- Every stock receives a daily score from 1 (Critical) to 5 (Very Strong). Each score starts from a neutral baseline, the rating of an average market performer, and is then adjusted upward or downward by core drivers distilled from over 30 AI-driven signals across five categories: fundamentals, technical indicators, analyst estimates, earnings call sentiment, and short interest. The result is a relative ranking within a stock's universe, not a price target.
- How often are scores updated?
- Daily. The models re-evaluate every covered stock each day as new market data arrives, so scores, rankings, and regime signals reflect the most recent available data.
- Which stocks does Shyller cover?
- Shyller covers thousands of stocks in defined universes such as US and European equities. Filters by region, country, and sector let you focus on the part of the universe that matters to you.
- Is Shyller investment advice?
- No. Shyller provides information and analysis for educational purposes only. The Health Score is a model-based assessment, not a recommendation to buy or sell a security. Investment decisions remain your own.
The AI models
- What do the stock selection models do?
- Each selection model is trained to score a defined universe of stocks, such as US or European equities. Within its universe, the model weighs fundamentals, technical signals, analyst estimates, earnings call sentiment, and short interest, and condenses them into the daily Health Score. Scores are comparable within a universe.
- What are market regime models?
- Separately from individual stocks, market regime models assess the overall state of a market, for example World or S&P 500. They classify the current environment as bullish or bearish with a probability, with full transparency into the momentum, volatility, macro, and valuation signals driving that assessment.
- How far ahead do the models look?
- Each model is trained for a specific forecast horizon, the forward time window its score is implicitly about. The horizon is shown alongside every analysis, so you always know the timeframe behind a score.
Plans and trial
- Do I need a credit card to try Pro?
- No. The 14-day Pro trial requires no payment details. You only add a card if you choose to continue after the trial.
- What happens when my trial ends?
- If you haven't added a payment method, your trial ends and your account moves to the Core plan automatically. You are never charged without adding a card.
- Can I change or cancel my plan later?
- Yes. You can switch between monthly and yearly, change tiers, or cancel anytime from your membership settings via the secure customer portal.
- What is the difference between Pro and Ultimate?
- Both unlock every stock, in-depth analysis, and daily emails. Pro includes three watchlists and global market regimes. Ultimate adds unlimited watchlists, regional market regimes, and priority support.
Data and privacy
- Where does the market data come from?
- Shyller builds on professional market data covering fundamentals, prices, analyst estimates, earnings call transcripts, and short interest. It is the same data foundation Ultramarin uses to manage institutional portfolios.
- What happens to my personal data?
- Your account data is processed in accordance with the GDPR and is never sold. Analytics run only with your consent. The details are set out in our privacy policy.
Getting started
- Do I need to connect a broker or portfolio?
- No. Shyller is independent of your broker. You build watchlists of the stocks you want to follow; no depot connection, transaction data, or holdings are required.
- Is Shyller available in German?
- Yes. The entire platform, including the AI-written analyst reports, is available in English and German. You can switch the language at any time.
- How do the email updates work?
- There are two kinds of email: watchlist updates when the scores of stocks you follow change, and a market digest with the best and worst rated stocks and the biggest movers. You choose daily or weekly delivery, set a sensitivity threshold, or turn them off entirely.
